Job description

Painter is a mid-size painting company specializing in new schools, public works and hotels. We are looking for experience Painters and Foremen to lead jobs year-round. We only work the best projects in house! Come check us out!

Requirements of the job:

  • Must have a vehicle.

  • Valid driver's license

  • Provide proof that you can work legally in the US.

  • Pass a drug screen.

  • Potentially pass a background check based on project requirements

  • Provide all basic tools for the job (painters grip). All other tools/equipment provided by employer.

    Skills we need from you:

    • Proficient in all aspects of the painting process

    • Masking

    • Prepping (sanding, caulking, etc)

    • Application of architectural coatings by brush, roll, or spray methods

    • Operation of power washing and spray equipment

    • Efficient work habits

    • Use of boom and scissor lifts

    • Use of ladders

    • Ability to give direction to paint helpers and manage efficiency

    • Ability to work as part of a small, medium or large team (positive attitude)

    • Ability to find, read and understand finish notes in blueprints

    Foremen should have commercial experience in the following, but not limited to, areas:

    • Exterior Repaint

    • Interior Repaint

    • New Construction

    • Waterproofing/Anti-Graffiti coatings

    • Tenant Improvement (brushing and rolling smooth wall in office spaces)

    • Remodels
